Retrieving your legal documents from Okinawa (Or any other locations in Japan)
Are you located in Brazil, Saipan, Guam, Germany, China, Korea, Philippines, USA or basically any country in the world outside of Japan? Are you in need of retrieving a document or documents from Japan such as a Family Register, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree or any other legal document(s) issued in or by Japan? We provide the professional service of retrieving these documents on your behalf.
To retrieve your document(s) we must first locate the requested documents. This will require that you provide us with as many details as possible so that we are able to fulfil your request for documents in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, Japan does not have a centralised system that manages this data so we will need to know the accurate location, birth dates and full names on the document(s) in order to conduct an exhaustive search.
Once we have located the document(s), an application and the necessary paper work will need to be submitted to enable us to retrieve the document(s) on your behalf. This requires that we create a Power of Attorney document for which all originals must be signed and submitted in hard copy to our Japanese mailing address.
If the document(s) we retrieve need to be Apostille Stamped, Notarised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Notarised by a Japanese Notary Lawyer we are able to provide these services as well.
It is important to note that the formal document(s) will be written in Japanese only. If you would like us to translate the document(s), we are able to provide Japanese language translation into English as well as 300 + other languages.
Please contact Okinawa Translator for the details on the procedure, – David Vincent Higgins, Owner.
